Why the hate? What self-loathing are you projecting onto the esteemed and beloved Penske? Sad. Pathetic. Sadly pathetic.

Apparently some people who wanted to get rid of stuff were being picky about wanting to make sure the recipient was truly "deserving"; then, there were people who thought they were more "deserving" who wanted to jump to the head of the line. Oy! I just gave priority to those who responded first.

One woman who wanted one of my items sent really strange e-mails with all the text in the subject header, and sob stories about not having a car and not knowing if she'd be able to borrow one to come pick up the item. I think she was hoping I'd offer to drive it over to her. Ha! I'm already giving the damn thing away!

Anyway, aside from the weirdos, I would highly recommend freecycling as a way of getting rid of stuff that's not high on charities' want lists. I got rid of a non-working lawnmower and an old thermal-paper fax machine, among other things.

Can I freecycle about 30 years worth of weeds in my garden?

No, but you can compost them. If you were in Stumptown, you could put noxious weeds (ones you don't want in your own compost pile) and other yard debris out to the curb alongside your garbage every other week, and Metro would compost it for you (making sure it gets hot enough to kill all weed seeds, etc.).

I don't know this Penske. Penske's no friend of mine. But you, sir, are clearly not Penske material.

Namaste.

Then my bike broke.
That is sooooo hot. Assuming it is a metaphor. Or methaphor.

You sweet talker.

You either answer in a way that is too literal (i.e., "I don't know any women who have no friends") or you change the meaning of the question to something that makes no sense and then answer it (i.e., "I'm having a harder time coming up with a hot woman who had almost no women friends, bitchy or not.").
Actually, I was the one who asked the original question based on the bitchy chick on The Bachelor who said she had no women friends and blamed it on the jealousy of other women. You changed it into a question about whether hot women, have a presumption of bitchiness or have extra obstacles in making women friends. I didn't need you to tell me that. What I did want to know is whether or not I am wrong in my belief that most women will (eventually, even if not on first impression) judge a woman on who she is and how she acts rather than how she looks.

The problem with you is that you have a tendency to read what you think I am saying and not what I actually wrote.

BTW, sometimes I'm passive and sometimes I'm aggressive, but I'm definitely not passive aggressive.

Hey now, stop that!! My younger sister has more effective ways to deal with me. She'll say something that makes what I'm saying/doing look so completely rEdiculous that I have to laugh and agree with her.

Flower seems pretty literal, not a metaphor guy. I think for flower this is closer to a Penthouse Forum story. You know, Fringe, sometimes a big strapping guy in a kilt is just a big strapping guy in a kilt.
