May I ask you all a silly question?

Ty, I think it doesn't live up to its hype or price. A recent rating (CR?) I saw placed it way down the list. You can get two better vacs for the price of one Dyson.

And with a shedding dog, you should NOT get a bagless vac. Emptying the cup (frequently) is messy and inconvenient and the dirt seems to get all over the vac's mechanical works, which I would bet shortens its lifespan.

Consumer company that polls all the other consumer companies. It notes that the Dyson people have a pet hair specific vacuum.

I'd like to take this moment to thank the Displaced Dog and the Puppy for not shedding.
