Can I guess Rick Fox and Halle Berry, or are they already taken?

I was thinking Rick Fox and Vivica Fox ("other foxes"). Additionally, Halle isn't yet divorced from Eric (although she has filed for divorce and has been divorced before). Maybe it means he's carrying on with Halle and chasing Vivica. He's hot enough.

TM(tm) dreams
Add me to the list. I was pondering having him trim the back of my hair, which has been a little out of control lately.
No sex.
And, I said the back of my hair, not my back hair. My back hair is pretty much under control.

Taxwonk claims he saw you at a party wearing a backless dress. he says you had "THIS SIDE UP" shaved into your backhair, ala Dennis Rodman. That just seems so unfeminine; not you at all. did you do it on a dare, or were you on the rebound?

For you problem solvers out there, this is highly addictive.

I would master this game before going on Survivor, as there's always one fucking challenge based on this.

If you have the task of selecting your first new single to release in seven years, and your legendary guitarist has in the meantime beaten a child pornography rap, please reconsider the tastefulness of selecting any track entitled "A Real Good Looking Boy."
That is all.

Its a long awaited follow up to "Rough Boys."
I reread the NYTimes review of the Who twice because I could not believe Townsend put out a song with that title. Pete's claiming the tune is about his own childhood experiences. I buy it.

Fred LeBlanc is the only guy I've seen who can work a breakdown and "clap your hands"-type patter into every single song in the set and actually make even jaded concert-goers like me actually want to do it. Their music is highly forgettable and no one in the civilized world needs to actually own a Cowboy Mouth album, but seeing the live show is worth the $5 or whatever it must cost to get into an event as illustrious as "Rib Fest."
|
Actually, I think Rib Fest is free. The ribs costs about $25 per, but you can walk in and enjoy music without paying a dime. I saw Cowboy Mouth once in my life, so I have apparently met the minimum requirement for this show. I was not a big fan of the music, but the dude with the really loud drums does put on a show.

As for Big Head Todd, that's worth seeing, too.

I actually got dragged to this show once. I think someone convinced me that the place would be packed with nubile spinning hippie chicks. All I remember is being in a sea of 22 year old, backwards cap-wearing, recently ex-frat guys. I cannot even begin to convey the depth of disappointment that I felt.

The FB didn't read the fine print.
'Another aspect of timing is repetition, and what comedy writers call “the rule of three”- the repetition of something three times, with a switch at the end of the sequence.'

I think that I heard the poem (called "Dude Fest," if memory serves) you wrote about that experience on a Coors Light radio commercial playing on a ClearChannel classic rock station over the weekend. It followed a Foghat song. ("Fool For The City" for those keeping score at home.)

I used to get dragged to these events from time to time in college. They were always the same - 2 hours of kids from Colby, Colgate, Cornell, etc.. dancing around and grooving on harmless, dull "Dead light." It was tolerable if you'd bogarted a few joints and sucked down enough whiskey, and there were bevies of cute blondes bobbing about for eye candy purposes. As to the music, I have no idea what was played, but I never attended expecting to hear anything good anyway. I'd usually leave early and tailgate, listening to somebody's bootlegs in the parking lot while firing back the last few lukewarm beers from the coooler.
PS: I saw My Morning Jacket this weekend. Interesting. They are really great when they play hard and heavy, but they don't play hard and heavy quite enough. The singer's voice is amazing.
