I know a person who is faster than Coltrane. He was finishing a marathon when he was passed by the eventual third place female finisher. She was reeking of excrement. He was angry at himself for allowing himself to be passed by someone who had forfeited her dignity so.
No. You have a problem. Her sweat soaking through her clothes is fine.

Your line of ass sweat filling in the middle of your short grey sweat shorts is not.

This is why I TCB just before going to the gym.

And I have no idea how ABBA could fit into this discussion.

Let's please not use me as a benchmark for speed. I am not fast.

That guy sounds fast.

You know Penn's a second-rate Ivy when it has to build up its ego by dissing Cornell.

I have been told that I normally don't smell that bad after a workout, but that I REALLY smell after long races.

One good thing is that I do not have an odor. I sweat A LOT but I do not stink. It is the silver lining of my sweaty cloud.

Hmm. Maybe I should rethink this whole marathon thing.

Unless someone from Houston or Florida can send me one of those astronaut diapers?

Fresh sweat doesn't stink. But if you ran a few miles and then passed out on the sofa for 4 hours with the windows shut while mustering the energy for a shower, your clothes would smell bad later. I know this from experience and so does the UPS guy who woke me up and had to deal with mulling about in the vicinity of my pits while I signed his little electronic board. Ew.

Well, there's your problem right there, you're supposed to use the pen with your hand, not other body parts. I also believe there isn't officially supposed to be touching during the exchange, though I have been known to rub up against Pam, our FedEx gal on occasion.

eta--also, lock your doors, you freak.

Bratty plaintiff of the day

http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/wayof....ap/index.html

Bride suing for $400,000 because her flowers, for which she paid $27,000 (!), were not the color she specified. And yes, as a matter of fact, she IS a lawyer.

For a friend.....

I think several of you have had children in your mid-30s and I am wondering whether you had difficulties getting pregnant or whether it was pretty easy. The friend in question has been pregnant several times before but had abortions and is in her mid-30s. Also, how does having been on birth control pills factor in?
