Britney marries (again)

Other problem: Apparently the Star has no fact-checkin' cuz. There is no Journey song by that name. They're probably thinking of "Lights," a song that is inarguably about San Francisco. I don't understand the deep personal connection this song would have to the happy couple, unless Federline is dropping a big hint that, like all former backup dancers for Justin Timberlake, he is a friend of Dorothy.
You'd think when a pop tartlet marries a backup dancer, they would want to set the dance floor on fire. As everyone with a seventh grade education can tell you, the movements accompanying a Steve Perry ballad are rather basic by comparison.
|
Maybe they played Lights because it's the only slow song she knows. Or they're not quite sure that Studio City is not the City by the Bay.
They didn't dance because Federline is so used to dancing behind her. And neither one of them can do a thing without a choreographer. It would have been mayhem.

I cannot manage the effort required for the additional punctuation.

Dear Mr. Chinaski,
I am the Mother of Shape Shifter. I understand he has been posting on some forum as a Big shot lawyer from Texas. He was lying. Shape Shifter is in the 11th grade at Dan Ackroyd HS here in Manitoba. He works at the local Tim Horton's on weekends, not at a law firm.
To promote his lie of being a lawyer from Texas, I guess he made a bet with you about some American football teams, and lost. He won't be paying you the money and you can call and complain all you want. He is saving to pay for smashing the window on our neighbor's car this one night when he snuck a 6 pack of Blue out of his dad's refrigerator. It will be another 6 months before he's all paid square.
I promise I will be monitoring his computer time better, and I apologize if his fantasy has caused problems for you.
Thank you for your understanding,
Wanda Shifter
WTF?
When did he quit his paper route?

Congratulations. When was the last time Detroit started at 2 - 0? The $50 will be delivered to lawtalkers as promised.

Hank's relieved. He lost his paper route last week when he threw Miss Humpalot's paper through the window on the second floor. They're still trying to figure out how he mustered that much umph in his throw.

Good. I am browner than usual now and, in an interesting twist, a lesbian.

The fall television season has started. There is really no reason to end on a cliffhanger.

For the record, I had nothing to do with her brownness or her lesbianness.

Knock it off Hank!
Hank, normally I love your everchanging photoshopped avatars but this latest one has got to go.
I often scroll through posts by looking at avatars, not names, and that one ought to be retired unless and until Paigow decides to return.
ETA: Pretty please would you change your avatar?
In other news, summer arrived in Minnesota this weekend just in time for fall to start tomorrow.
In related "hell freezing over" type news, a Republican zealot who moved to rural Minnesota from Texas says that those on the political right are on God's side and those on the political left are anti-God. This was actually a softening of his earlier statement that "God is detested by [Democrats] and will be a force for the Republican Party in Renville county." This left-leaning wingnut takes exception with that.
