Yes. I understand the rule, and there's a pretty good reason for it. A bomber could check through a bag on a plane going A-B-C and then get off at B, with the bomb timed to go off at C. But the alternative to citing the rule and blowing them off is "We'll get your bags off the other flight"

That said, identifying once again all the hassles of flying probably isn't the pub. that the airlines were seeking when sponsoring aspects of the show.
