Misogynistic or not, junior-high Ollie would watch hours of MTV just to catch the cartwheeling cheerleaders at the end of the video.

ETA: Jaysus! That personal K is rapidly approaching!

Misogynistic? Damn, I hate that word....

Um, but no. Not really. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I'd be getting hammered today too but for that stupid firm "no booze in the office before 5:00" policy. Bastards.

Surely you've got Full House Live in your collection?

(Maybe they were bigger here than elsewhere.)

I agree. But someone (and by "someone" I mean an FB Betty) (I reject the other spelling) pointed out to me that some of the lyrics indicated a certain male control thingy -- the "take your car .... take them off in private" line was cited. You know, only he could get to see her nekkid. I'll let her explain if she chooses to. Or not.

And a younger Not Bob was convinced that Martha Quinn so was that one chick in the video.

if you go the engagement ring route, that often dictates the wedding band. My wedding ring would not be band.

And Coltrane, I am well aware of how much bands cost. Try 15 guitars.

Sheesh. Isn't there a difference between rock n' roll and misogyny?

"Great bar band" was a compliment, and meant more to convey sound/feel than to reflect venue size. The Stones are a great bar band (and certainly hall of fame worthy by any measure). Based largely on Full House Live, I would have loved to see early-to-mid-70s JGB, whether it was in a dive bar or in an arena. Still, I don't see 'em as hall of fame worthy.

Great. $100 for the board! Now if only every loser here would donate $50.
