You have to love the snide and catty comment - from a geologist no less.

What are Astros? Go Texans!

Thanks. Indeed it was. Houston's a gutsy team I have a lot of respect for. So is Boston for that matter. The Cubs, on the other hand can suck it, those pricks...

Should be a great Series, though I have to pencil the Bosox in as slight favorites with home field as long as Schilling holds up. There's a slim chance we get Carpenter back, so we'll see today.

I have to say I'm pretty keyed up since we haven't been to the Series since I was in high school...

You could go to S.I.R. Productions and buy Sugar High Glitter City, a film that asks the immortal question, "If sugar was outlawed, how would lesbians in search of a sugar fix satisfy themselves?" There's also Hard Love & How to Fuck in High Heels if you're looking for a double feature.

If you wanted something even more advanced, you could go to blowfish.com, but some of the videos they sell (1) look quite advanced, and (2) cannot be shipped to Texas (sorry RT).

Spree: Don't click either of these links if you reside in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or West Virginia. You'll be brought up on obscenity charges by the end of the day.

I can't personally recommend these videos, but Hard Love apparently won an AVN award, and Meryl Streep hasn't even won one of those yet.
Thank you for stepping up to the plate. I think I have an out of state source that will be happy to purchase the videos for me and risk prosecution by shipping them to me.

A van or a dog. In fairness the dog's accent leads you to believe that his name is Rastro.

The Coming of Astro
Jane and the kids want a dog for personal protection, George doesn't believe in that but wants to keep everyone happy. To George the answer is an apartment approved electronic dog, one of those nuclear powered trouble free dogs: "Lectronimo"! At the same moment the rest of the family found a biologic dog. A contest should point out the superior dog.

Often, after smart dinner parties, Picasso is said to have wheeled out Guernica for his guests to enjoy.

Once, Pablo's accountant was honored to have been asked. He brought as his guest, his dowager sister. The aging woman, had only recently learned to appreciate impressionism, and knew not of Picasso, or for that matter much of what passed for thoughtful expression inthe prior 40 years. Still the accountant knew she had been recently left by her husband, and he felt the chance to get out, and catch intellectual fare might be very beneficial to her.

as with many grand plans, this crashed a fiery death. while the assembled guests spoke of topics like the German expressionists and some of the fine noir novels that had been recently published by the independant press in France, the sister simply, and loudly, questioned Pablo's servants as to where they had purchased the chafing dish and other bakeware.

When papa had the masterpiece wheeled in, its intial effect was always the same- stunned silence. after several minutes the sister grew agitated, and finally, with fanfare announced "well I know what everyone is thinking, and I'll be the first to say it, my child could have done this!"

the guests, thinking the accountant had brought an actress to play the role of buffoon laughed heartily. he recognized the moment and ushered her to a cab.
Man, I never get tired of reading that. I thought you all might like to see it again, too.

Beltran? No-brainer.
But Yanks need a left-hander
Boss lusts for Unit

Speaking of the Boss, I have to admit that it was very gracious of George to call Cashman up within a couple of hours of the end of the game to tell him that he wasn't fired. The guy's occasional outbursts of decency just make his usual jerkiness seem all the more, well, jerky.

I don't want to sound mean or catty or anything, but if you're going to be a paid model, couldn't you at least keep your cheeks firm?
I see your point, but they'll do.

I am making dinner for three lovely ladies in the near future, to be served in my kitchen.
