You know, you've just made me realize why it might be that my son (almost 6!) has taken a sudden interest in going commando.
I was thinking it was because I hadn't bought him new underwear in a while, and the kind he has was getting too small -- but that makes me feel like a neglectful mother, so I will delude myself into thinking that it is the summer weather.
(Don't worry -- I recently bought him appropriately sized undies.)
