I find it utterly ridiculous when laymen take stars to task for whoring it up for money. Its fucking show business. If I had tits and ass like hers and could shake my money maker like she can, I'd try every trick in the book and ride the gravy train until I was sure it was dead. And so would 99.9999% of America.
Madonna is the gold standard. Why not follow her lead?

Right. I don't disagree that she is likely to ride the cash cow and she probably should, however I was talking about whether or not I have to have any respect for her at all. I do not. If she was doing what Madonna did and reinventing herself, I would have respect for her. Because she is instead having Madonna come to her rescue and tell her how to (attempt to) reinvent herself, I do not.
But I come from silly working class folk who put value on making your own way in this world. I'm sure others' opinions will vary.
