Apropos of books, I know this is not the book club, but this is a really good book - The in-between world of Vikram Lall. It's about an Indian/African guy growing up in Kenya in the 50s (interesting times) who becomes disillusioned and moves to Canada. Also about feeling like you are part of many and not really part of any culture. I liked it a lot. Just beat Margaret Atwood and others for the Giller Prize.
