I think she's attractive, but not in the kind of "can't take my eyes off her" sort of way.

I can't think of anyone famous about whom I think this -- but I know there are a few such gals. The only person I can think of is a friend of mine who is a stunner. She looks like a young Natalie Wood.

When I can think of celebrities I think are knock-outs, I'll get back to you. I know you will all be on pins and needles until then.

As to Bessette's background, I recall she was not a commoner, but actually came from an old family with a rather solid history in the area. And as to public schooling, where'd she go? Greenwich PS 101? I don't honestly know, so you can fill that one in for me. Bottom line... the Kennedy's don't marry proles, so whether she's monied or traces her lineage back the Mayflower, she's well bred. Failing that, she gives the appearance of impeccable breeding.

I'm neither elitist nor reformed. I'm just calling Bessette what most folks see her as - a symbol of what's perceived be good breeding. I can't put my finger on what exactly the defvining quality is that makes her appears so, but she's got it. And there's a certain person who thinks that's beautiful. Hell, I think its refreshing, since it usually means the person has manners. However, I don't think its "hot".

It is the ability of the most worthy of our society to distinguish those with good breeding from those without that separates us from the animals. While your quaint notions of the everyman clawing his way to the top through sheer grit and determination show an amusing naivete, it is not how it works, nor is it how it should work. No - the worst is that I-love-this-woman one. It's like torture. I would confess to anything if I was bound to a chair and forced to watch that on endless loop.

The best ones are some of those Sprint commercials - like when she takes a picture of her friend's new boyfriend (the slob) and the one where he throws his phone at the little kid's stick house. Also, one that makes me laugh is when they are all in a car and one guy gets out to pee and they drive off on him and the Chariots of Fire music plays as he runs to catch the car.
