You know what? Whether or not I have ever posted anything "creative" or "worth reading" has no bearing on the fact that the song parody in question sucked.
And, frankly, if you don't find me worth reading, then don't. Or put me on your fucking ignore list, for all I care.

1) That would have been more effective had you just said "Or put me on your ignore list, for all I care" without the "fucking". With "fucking" it reads to me like you are crying as you are speaking, which shows you do care. Which you probably do, bc who amongst us doesnt secrety crave TM's love and acceptance.
2) I know you have made me laugh on occasion. ALso, since he is always behind, and a huge Scroller, I suspect he has missed some of your finer posts.
3) With the exception of his parody, the only things I have read from him lately are tiresome debates with Bilmore. A solid postting year in 2001 does not make one a glass house in 2003. Just ask Flower who thinks he is leaving at the right time in his career, but really should have gone out with the Mojito.

Here's hoping.

the review's have been pretty mediocre (see Salon and NYT, for two examples). That said, I am still seeing it tonight. Uma in yellow leather, plus Lucy Liu, makes this movie a must-see.

I know it sucked- I didn't claim otherwise. but the main point was really proven out. I had a guy with over 300 posts tell me to leave, when I swear I can't remeber one interesting/funny/inciteful post he's done. I don't mind it being called awful, I realized that just before post; I should have started earlier. But shit, I'm dragging the board down?
2 thoughts:
1 I might win with all the disgruntled outsiders being forced my way by the negativity;
2 TM reinforced my point, in future, look at the avverage waste of electrons on a given day by the "please leave posters." I wouldn't mind if one of the funny/creative people said leave (I posted this on Paigow because she does post funny stuff and has the right to criticize).
confidential to TM: non-animated avatar will be installed before any more posts (but I might just fade away)

Spends her summers writing bad screenplays in New Mexico. Says hi to everyone. Thanked me for taking her dog.

I knew it! PLF is lying little bitch! If I IM'd or PM'd with him, I'd give him a piece of my mind. BITCH! BITCH! BITCH!

I'll probably see it, if only because "all style no substance" is not necessarily the kiss of death for me. I loved the Cell.
What I really want to see is intolerable cruelty.

Ms. dL and I caught Intolerable Cruelty at a preview earlier this week. While it's not the Coens' best work ("Lebowski," IMHO), it's still pretty damned funny. Clooney and Zeta-Jones are both outstanding: Clooney for his ability to lampoon himself, Zeta-Jones for her impenetrably cold persona.
Billy Bob and Cedric the Entertainer are also really funny.

He should have gone out with tantric sex, riding a bike, if not earlier.

Even though I know you need a $50 dildo, I have to put you in second place to Shapeshifter's Happy Birthday parody. Nice work, though.

I don't vote because voting is a sucker's game. But if I did vote, I would be forced to vote against you because you used "negativity" as if it were a real word. If you used words like "proactive" and "paradigm" or "synergy" I would be annoyed, but when you start using cliche non-words, I am beyond annoyed. If there is a word that describes someone who is really annoyed,* that would be the word.
In the future, you can use negatIVE as the adjective that it was meant to be. Negative attitude; negative emotions; negative electrical current, etc.
I didn't read your parody because I don't have a dog in this yard. However, I am sure that all the parodies were of above average quality, even though I have no facts upon which to base to this opinion. Therefore, good luck in winning the $50 gift certificate to Good Vibrations or Amazon. One can never have too many Anal Plugs or Oprah's Book Club selections.
*There is a word to describe someone who is really annoying, as opposed to annoyed, that word is paigow.

[i] I didn't even mention the Land of Foo. Although I haven't visited, I imagine it's a glorious place where hand jobs can be had with but a simple request. I hear it's a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.
