Lefties do seem more fluid, but why? I'm right-handed but bat mostly lefty (I can switch hit in softball, but was too slow to hit righty in baseball), and it FEELS more fluid.
Excellent question. I've always wondered about this.

Also, whenever baseball analysts discuss lefty batters, they invariably conclude that lefties are excellent low ball hitters. This seems to coincide with the fact that they have better, prettier and more fluid swings. And I don't get it.
