I thought it was pretty obvious that the parentheticals were my own. And yes, he wasn't convicted, because they never followed up on his request to take the money later on. Quoth he: "You know, we do business for a while, maybe I'll be interested, maybe I won't..."

Once again -- nothing suggesting that Murtha wants to reduce or limit funding, or "starve the troops" as you hysterically put it.

And undermining "the president’s foreign and national security policy" is not undermining "National Security." Remember, it's the president's policy that got us in the Iraq quagmire and made Iran vastly stronger.

If you really care so much about the troops, I would think you'd be yelling and screaming about Bush's failure to provide body armor and other supplies before sending more over there.
