"Wedding Party"
Not that anyone in the media thought to question why there was a wedding going on at 2am on a tuesday evening - at a known safehouse - but hey, what the hell. Let's fan the flames of discontent.
Hell, why not up the ante and say it was a "gay wedding party". You know, to upset another entire demographic.

Hey, the question was directed to me. Stick to your flat tax.
But, sort of what you said. Except that it won't exert pressure to up any production overseas. Why would it? If anything, it would reduce overseas production, because the incentives to pump and sell are lower, given the lower price, and the recognition that the price will go up as soon as the spigot stops.
Besides, it's too early to start using the reserve. I'd start it around July 1, getting the supplies out to refineries by July 15, just in time to remove the issue for late July. But I'd only use half. I'd save the remainder for use in mid-September. Unless, of course, there's a deal with the saudis.

Isn't it like a fat guy calling someone a "fatso" as an insult? There are plenty of digs to level at McCain, but sacrifice for country is not one of them.
Even Bush hasn't been so stupid as to question significantly Kerry's war record. It's just not a battle that can be won.

I think that demographic is already pretty enflamed.

You lose your sense of humor this morning?
ETA: "flaming" may have been way too obvious, but at least I would have got it. More coffee dammit

I understood what he said, he just said it in a way oversimplified, and therefore inaccurate, way. I even understand how a flat tax works. I am at a loss as to how stick figures could be used to make flat taxes clearer, though.
I don't generally drink much in the morning. Your experience may vary.

What kind of boring-ass weddings do you go to that they are over before 2 am?
Now I'm thinking all that goes on in your kitchen is rats eating roaches.

Why isn't anyone talking about conservation?
The price of gas wouldn't be such a problem in this country if everyone drove more fuel efficient cars.
People are stoopid.

Sweetie, just because you continue to assault the buffett table for hours after the "last dance" of the evening does not, in fact, mean that the wedding isn't over.

It is and its not. I think there are items provided by the federal government that we all can agree should be provided - a military for one. So the tax rate necessary to support these items is not arbitrary.

Don't forget the people who make the zoning decisions.

He'd apparently been saving up abd didn't tell me, and I was overwhelmed and surprised, and my head bumped the table. I wouldn't call that an assault on the table.

Whiff. She's pretty thin.
It's more like Just because all the single male guests have hooked up and left, doesn't mean the one busboy is out of reach.
