Hot damn hoo-ha-hoe, it is high time that this was said. Of course, his fellow dimocrats won’t get this, but Ty is a very weak poster, who has gained an inexplicable following of the rank and file leftwing dodos here. His fate, much like Gore’s is and JFKerry’s will be, is almost certainly intellectual irrelevance and the scrapheap of board history. He may be the Adder of his generation.

OK, but you are neglecting the fact that Ty actually reads all those articles/blogs he posts. Factor that in along with the lost posts and see what I am saying?

Well, maybe tomorrow will be a better day, filled with more compelling topics than comparisons of the hoo-has of Mary Magdelene and Not Me. 'Night, all.

Since when did this become the faith board?

Agreed. Either she puts up or shuts up. Much like what I challenge this hoo-ha for brains to do:
Good nite.

Do you not recall the reason why the phrase "October surprise" is loaded? If something of that sort were to come out in October, that would be bad juju indeed.

This would be scary if true, but MR fixed things so that it reflects my prior posts.

From the Nelson Report, via Josh Marshall:
- If it's possible to imagine anything more damaging to DOD [than the Iran/Chalabi revelations], and perhaps also to White House staff, it is the CIA's conclusion that some information Chalabi turned over to Iran was available to only "a handful" of senior U.S. officials. That would be Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Cheney, and Cheney's consigleiri, Scooter Libby, our sources helpfully explain.
-- perhaps not entirely by coincidence, the Vice President's office is already on extra orders of TUMS, as it awaits the promised Grand Jury indictments of those responsible for leaking the name of a secret CIA officer to newspaper columnist Bob Novak, allegedly to "punish" the agent's husband, Amb. Joe Wilson, for revealing that President Bush used faulty intelligence about Iraq and Niger in the State of the Union Address two years ago. From our own days as a police and court reporter, we can tell you that Grand Juries often grind exceeding slow, but that if they report, not much gets left out.
Meanwhile, the President hired outside counsel in the Plame affair.

[kyle]Holy shit, dude![/kyle]
All I wanted was for Scooter Libby to swing from a metaphorical lamp-post. Last time I read the treason statutes (about 1995; ugly business; best not speak of it again) the lamp-post at issue was somewhat more corporeal.
Gotta admire GWB's loyalty, if nothing else.

So he consulted with outside counsel?
Had he consulted solely with the DOJ, you would have called it a cover-up.

So me and Club were wrong. The Syrians don't have the WMDs. It's beginning to sound like the Iranians do.

The DOJ is not the President's personal law firm. Had he consulted with DOJ, they would not have been advising him in his personal capacity. In the event that he has some personal exposure, he need his own lawyer.

What is the rule on preemptory pardons? Can someone be pardoned if they haven't been indicted yet If not, I'm happy with the grand jury taking its time.
I've noticed that the Plame affair and the Chalabi scandal have taken a back seat to the Scott Peterson trial on fox news. If W manages reelection, maybe Peterson will receive a pardon.
