I get prime beef at less than I pay for choice or select at supermarkets. And just out of curiosity, where do you think much of the seafood that goes to Costco comes from? The same boats that serve the Pike Street Market. And it hits them the same day or the day after.

I wouldn't generally buy my produce at Costco. And I don't usually buy hot dogs by the gross. But for many things, Costco makes better quality available to more people at better prices than any other source.

Perhaps if Eric Ripert were to source some of his seafood from Costco, more people could afford to dine at Le Bernardin.
