Oh. I just meant I would have known the quote and was hinting at it with my earlier post (which is a major category of whiff wonk. I'm not wrong). Although, that was just my joke because, to be honest, I took new testiment "pass/fail" in catechism so I really didn't focus on the lesser verse.

In that case, maybe you should go back to posting about stuff you don't actually know about. At least those posts are amusing. Sometimes.

Looking for really good chocolate cake recipe
Format (layer cake, no frosting at all --whatever) unimportant. I much prefer moist to dry. Melting squares of chocolate can probably be done, but I can't do anything fancy. I tend to burn my right hand/arm, cut myself or my fingernails, and my left hand can be a helper but is uncoordinated and sometimes a bit shaky. But batter into a pan or two, I can do. Flavored buttercream frosting, I can do and spread. Mostly I don't want it to be a PITA, because my freezer is kinda full.

If you've a simpler recipe, it involves a syringe. Which is cheating.
The only use for a potato is vodka. Potato salad, potato pancakes, mashed potatoes... all of it's flavorless bulk.
(Reminds me of the sea bass I cooked this evening. There is no more overrated fish. Dull even when smothered in garlic, lemon, white wine, butter and green chile sauce with more salt in it than a Slim Jim.)

That was loaded late night work. I didn't even know it was the food board when I was writing that.
Frighteningly lucid, I might add.

This is my favorite. I usually make half as much ganache, only use it for the filling, and frost with cream cheese frosting.
Enjoy!

no, potatoes are very much what you need. you need to have someone get you on the "vodka of the month club."
Trust me, my daughter was premed for a semester.

I am unable to buy large amounts of alcohol on anything other than an infrequent basis. I am in blue law land. So it is sold very few places. And I cannot drive. Or may not. And my CA license is expired, and it's the only one I have.

I once flew when my only form of ID was an expired CA DL. The security guy wasn't going to let me through, and all my best arguments were ones you can't make in a TSA line (it's not like when a driving privilege expires the ID of the person carrying it is cast into doubt; a terrorist who really needs to board the plane more than everybody else is going to remember to carry a valid DL, right?) but ultimately he let me through. Maybe you can try buying booze -- the worst that could happen is they say "we can't," right? Are they gonna arrest you for buying booze when you're legal but don't have the right ID with you? If I'm wrong I will buy you Drambuie when I'm in your town.

a few years ago (post 9/11).

I once lost my wallet in NYC. For the return trip (sans wallet), they questioned me about personal shit, gave me a hand job, but eventually let me go home - disappointed.
In Oz, they made me go in private room - to take my shoes and socks off, show the underside of my belt, and fully expose my deoderant. 22 years of effectivity, eh? They caught me with eleven books.
