See my example. If your question is "Does Apple ever drop the price on the identical product" the answer to that seems to be "infrequently". They more often update the product with more memory/features and keep the price the same. Or sometimes they even drop the price, as with computers. Then the older version becomes much cheaper in their refurb store.

So, if one were to guess on the iPhone, chances are the prices will stay the same until they update it in some way, at which point you'll get more memory for the same price or perhaps more memory for a lower price.
Let's just say that they're not trying to compete on price.

I saw this avatar on the Survivor Sucks Big Brother board and thought you might want to use it on days when you want to scream.

earlier today, a sort of unimportant email cc'd to sh-----, my in-house lawyer client, went to sh------, opposing counsel on a new lawsuit. I know I will be more careful of the "guess the email address" software from now on. I'm just saying.

Whatever.

FWIW, I spent even more money on HR Derby (fun) and All Star Game tix, so I really have no truck in this frivolous spending discussion.

I had plans of doing this, but alas, I still have the stuffed flower they gave me when I bought the car in the bud vase. It is a stuffed daisy.

BTW, a stuffed daisy? WTF?

It really is a great product. Everything is seamless and intuitive. It's sleek, small, light, easy to use and beautiful. I have very few complaints. The internet is very slow if you're not in a wifi spot, but if you are, it's awesome. Email is easy and great, although it doesn't come in in real time (but we know they'll fix that and put blackberry out of business). Typing on the screen takes some getting used to, but once you trust their correction software, you can just type away and not worry about it. The camera works well. The ipod is better than any ipod on the market. I watched a movie on it and the definition is great. I put a bunch of photos on it and scrolling through them is lots of fun. The thing really has very few weaknesses and I can't imagine that, once the price drops, people won't replace their phone the first opportunity they get.

Does your firm support it for your work email? I asked this question to one of my firm's IT guys in passing recently and got laughed at.

No, but Microsoft's inevitable imitation will.

Not yet. (Although, if the firm can hook up to its current IMAP POP Exchange* or whatever platform, you can get your email hooked up to it.) But, see below. I'm sure Blackberry is sweating their collective asses off.
