It reminds me of that retarded SATC episode with Miranda and Casual Friday her gay associate comes in in a mesh top and I think capris and she comes in something tight and pregnancy baring.

I think that part of you enjoyed showing off your bare ass.

I think your mistaking that for something else. The alternative use of oxymoron is Rush Limbaugh, pre-rehab.

To answer another of your questions, Houston is unquestionably hotter than New York, but New York is a more miserable place in the summer. In Houston, I went from my air-conditioned apartment to my air-conditioned car to my air-conditioned office. To the extent I spent time outside, it was by the pool.

You have to walk in NY. I planned my walk to work this morning to maximize the shade. Even though it's a relatively short walk (10 - 15 mins.), that enough to work up a good sweat when it's hot and humid and you're wearing business attire.
DC is built on a swamp. it is way more humid. my first winter there it was 20 out, so I grab my Detroit proof down to -10 coat. I was cold. I think because there is so much more moisture. In the summer I had to walk 2 blocks outside before I could start cutting through office buildings. I was soaked most days, but was dry by the time I passed through 5 buildings to good old Crystal Plaza 4.

Now NY is very humid in August, but not as bad as DC- BUT NY has that gritty dirty quality to the air in the summer which makes it as unpleasant, if not more so, than DC.

let's face it, NYC stinks out loud in the heat like today. meh. ugh. Just people don't wash, and the sidewalks stink like fermented trash and rotting crap and the usual bathroom smells.

No, couldn't afford it, but I just saw Bud Selig and his police escort going to PacBell/SBC/ATT park just now.

What is the purpose of that? I mean, wouldn't a limo on All Star Tuesday be less obvious? Because the ball park's like 6 blocks from here - it's not like he has to worry about traffic.

the city, being a bombed out shell is probably okay. but I can't say for certain this month because I'm going to Mackinac Island to stay at the Grand Hotel for a few days, then to a rental on Lake Michigan on the tunnel trees north of Harbor Springs, then to a basketball tournament in Fort Wayne Indiana PROVIDED I can get out of the fucking Hartford airport tonight on my already delayed by at least 1 hour plane.

oh. the golf channel has a new invention reality show starting tonight with 2 of our clients on it, because we have more golf courses than any other state.

Holy cow, you and I agree on something. I mean, I don't know what it ACTUALLY smells like there today, but this is a strong impression I have of NYC. Perhaps because we always went in the summer.

Apparently there were some Lions in spin class today (Hi Hank!), which is weird because they totally did not look gay, if there is such a thing as "looking gay."
