I've had a pair for four years.
But I'm looking for some more functional sandals. Any suggestions?

These worked for Jimmy:

I have been loving reef flip-flops for a number of years. I would like to be able to wear them every day all day, all the time, except when I'm barefoot.

So the Canadian lives in Hoboken, of all cursed places. Fucking Jersey. Anyway, he wants me to come there and visit him. I am so blinded with lust at this point that I'm tempted to do so, but I fear it sets a bad precedent. I'll probably still go, but do you all think this is a bad precedent?
It's odd. I would have no qualms about going to Brooklyn for sex, but I am having trouble with Jersey.

this is probably a question where only NYers' advice is of value, but from outside, Hoboken is cooler than most of NJ. sinatra, plus it just sounds good.

If you go, he will expect you to travel all the time.
Why can't he come to you?

On a related note, Reef flip-flops are really, really comfy. Comfier than bare feet.

I have a pair of Reefs. They're good, but I never really thought about whether they're more or less comfortable than any other. I just picked them up because that was all the store had. But I do like them.

It's not like you're moving in with him, pretending that ex's are calling you, and cleaning up puppy poop, so what's the harm?

There's no bad precedent in getting laid, particularly if its just a fling. What's it, a half hour jaunt?

What do UK prime ministers wear when they come to DC?
- On his first visit to Camp David - for the now famous "Colgate Summit" - Blair sported a pair of what Sir Christopher Meyer, the former UK ambassador to the US, memorably described as "ball-crushingly tight dark-blue corduroys". Brown preferred a dark suit and dark tie.
linky
Carry on.
