sigh. yes, people are of two camps. The calphalon camp and the all-clad camp. Is all clad "all that?" I like the calphalon [vintage I guess] because of the way the heat distributes. [cooks evenly] I have heard all clad is very nice as well.

As to the whole registering thing, just do it. I don't think anyone will think less of you. However, you might want to think about having a party at some point after the elopement to celebrate the wedding. That provides an occasion for people to bring or order gifts for you so it doesn't seem so weird.
Oh yeah. Congratulations, Barely!

And I totally agree on the registering thing. I get annoyed when someone I know gets married and doesn't register, just like I get annoyed at people who don't have call-waiting or answering machines.

You CAN, but its a lot of trouble.

Cue Coltrane with a sophomoric joke about wrist strength and masturbation.

when you get to that point, barely we all can debate the maclaren vs. perego stroller debate. or bugaboo frog

I think that is of the same vein. equally quality strollers each with different strengths.

We recently picked up some old lined copper cookware - it is a pleasure to work with for the right thing and sparklingly beautiful.

As opposed to the junior-yearic jokes we used to make about wrist strength from scooping ice cream (hi rp and dtb!) and ability to give hand jobs.

TCOTU question

A friend I'd lost track of now lives in an apartment on Montauk Hwy in Oakdale. What does this signify?

Some time in the next week or so, Taxwonk will heartily approve. You do NOT want to get smacked silly with a piece of Le Creuset cookware, however. I think my favorite piece of cookware is my Le Creuset tagine. Talk about pretty. I'm not gay, by the way. Have I mentioned that here?

Should I make something up, then? It's not that exciting -- we'll probably go to a bed and breakfast in the blue ridge mountains when the leaves are peaking.
