The trouble with chick lit is that some of it is genuinely funny
and not bad
and some of it is Stephanie Klein.* When you pick up the book, you don't know what you are going to get. That is generally why I tend to avoid it.
*my bf went out on a date with her. He said that words can't begin to describe how horrible it was.
And no sex.
