Eventually -- finally -- I got around to watching
Elf and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Elf was for the Gaplets over the holiday, so we watched it. Again.
And again.
And again. On the upside, I can now deconstruct Buddy's burp like it was the Zapruder film.
And THHGttG helped satisfy my Inner Geek.
But my real surprise was encountering this girl in each movie.
Zooey Deschanel.
Where on earth did she come from? What an adorable young lady.
