That article made me like hockey about ten times as much as before I read it. The audio is absolutely hilarious. Maybe if they were always miked up, I would watch.

Yeah, I read all of the Hobbit books when I was a kid.

Barely, I just reread the Mists of Avalon. It is a retelling of the Arthurian legend from a somewhat feminist perspective. It's a pretty long read.

I also like Ann Rule as far as true crime goes. She doesn't tend to get too explicit. I recently read her book on Ted Bundy (which was particularly interesting because she knew him.) I also read her book on Tom Capano, which wasn't quite as good, but still not bad.

I am not sure why you liked him (whether it is for the same reasons that I do), but after I read that article, I mentioned by instant messaging system (sniff) that I like the cut of his jib, and he will be my new boyfriend should I get on the market again.

I like him because he's a black guy in a white sport who gets paid to fight all comers -- and wins. And I like him because he's so casual about the whole thing. But mostly I like him because he punches people in the head really hard and fast until they fall down, unconscious in a pool of their own blood.

I absolutely knew that was coming. I almost pre-replied to it. The difference between the two is Laimbeer is a cheap shot artist who never wanted to fight. If you want me to pick a tough white guy who plays a black sport, I'll have to go with Larry.

that and this guy will never lead the NHL in any major stat. Unless, do they count teeth knocked out?

Question for the hockey dads/moms- when do players decide to become a thug/enforcer? Are there 12 year old kids whose main skill is they fight really well? Parents saying "my son plays the enforcer position?"

This is a Pony Trekker question. I don't think any of us have kids in hockey that I can recall, other than him.

Is Friday night Hockey Night in Canada?

I want to make sure I soak up all the local culture I can.

Woo-hoo! Here's hoping I get out of the conference room in time to have some fun.

I am suddenly craving a Sweet Marie bar. Try to find a cool local pub and I am sure you will have fun.

Will this DAY EVER END? These short weeks are KILLING ME. so slow and quiet and draggy.
