It's so nice to see the board coming together in harmony and joy over this beautiful event.

Sure, but Parcells had so totally fucked him in the head (which is why Mar-teen got the job) that, if he were still kicking, I might have guessed that Romo deliberately missed the snap because he figured that running it in would have been more likely to produce points.
The guys on ESPN said that there is a code word that holders are supposed shout when the snap gets muffed, so that the tight end releases his block and runs a pattern, and that Romo didn't call it.
Like RT, I am always happy when the Cowboys lose.

On this I blame Parcells, actually. Had the code word been "SHIT!!!!!" everything would've unfolded differently.

Brett Favre throws too many interceptions = Brett Favre needs to make something happen for his team since he is their only weapon. He has to force the issue. If he gets picked off, blame the offensive line or the receivers.
Brett Favre is a drug addict = Brett Favre has always played with pain. He's the toughest player in the league. He wouldn't be able to walk if he didn't take something to treat the pain.
Brett Favre refuses to assist in the development of rookie Packers quarterbacks because, as he says, "It's not my job" = Favre is the consummate team player. A true leader. And he's given so much to this team and the league that he shouldn't be expected to train his replacement. It's just insulting to him.
Brett Favre refuses to retire so the Packers can begin rebuilding and holds the team hostage every year while they wait for him to make a decision = Brett Favre is a warrior and he can still compete on a high level. The Packers owe him as much leeway as he wants. He should never retire. We love him.
Brett Favre's dad died = My life is over. I wish they had taken me so that Brett wouldn't have to endure this pain. Why God? WHY?
Hurricane Katrina brought some rain to Brett Favre's house = Please Lord. If you were a merciful God, Brett Favre's family will be spared any inconvenience. We know they're in no danger and he is worth $40 million, but God help us all if his family has to stay one more day at the Four Seasons until they replace that one window that was damaged.
Favre can suck it.

Can't the same be said about all the fawning over Elway, Brady, Manning or the next superman du jour?
Warts and all, that guy has done more than anyone else in the past 50 years to actually make you feel pretty good to be from Green Bay. He is tough, plays hard, respects other players and has fun.
The guy has a lifetime pass with nearly everyone in Wisconsin, and personally I am having a hard time imagining the Packers or the NFL without the guy. I may prefer he make different decisions but he is what he is, and he has never said otherwise.
With all due respect, suck it.

Why is Dallas such a hateful, despicable team? I mean, I hate them because of the Niners-Cowboys rivalry that was so pronounced back in the days when the Niners mattered ( and, verily, they shall rise again). And there was the whole Deion Sanders thing.
I know that there are other rivalries -- but still. They seem to attract such virulent hatred from so many quarters. Not to say it's not deserved -- it just worries me, on some level, that we pay them so much attention.
Note: I liked the Cowboys as a kid but I think that had more to do with the cheerleaders, whose photos graced my older brother's Playboy collection.

Brady, no. P. Manning, yes. The fawning over him makes me want to puke. He's got every statistic and record to his name -- except the part about wins that matter. Yet, for years, people talk about him like he's the second coming, and as if he were vastly better than Brady. Blech.

It's amazing how many Cowboy haters there are. Fans, not broadcasters. I think back to how many announcers came to worship at the altar of Tony Romo when he was the hot new stud QB and couldn't take it.
And when you blow smoke up someone's ass for that long, maybe he begins to feel bullet-proof. I don't know what happened, but it seems like the football gods could not let TO win another playoff game. And the Dallas fans are accusing our crew of using a particularly slick ball. Right.

Not too much different from Elway before his last two years or Marino after his first. Great numbers, and a total inability to win the big games.

If only he were actually sexy. I'm hoping he has another bad day. Because the Bears fans I know are really questioning his ability.
I'm really sorry for your loss, but it seems like losing Donovan McNabb was the best thing to happen to the Eagles in a long time. Who knew that Jeff Garcia had it in him?

Um, excuse me, asshole-face, but last I checked the nickname for the Cowboys was "America's Team." The team of AMERICA. What's your problem with America? Oh, that's right. Everything. I am so tempted to kick your pathetic little Eurotrash-wannabe ass all the way to Scotland. But that's not how we roll here in America. We're about freedom in this country. So stay as long as you want, badmouthing America and all it stands for. You're probably too dumb to understand the irony that, even as you badmouth America and all it stands for, one of the main things that this country stands for is the freedom to be able to stay here and badmouth it. God, you are such an asshole-face.

Altho Romo started to make mistakes after getting all the press, I haven't seen him make the number of fundamental mistakes that Sexy Rexy has (maybe I missed them). Rex has taken to throwing off his back foot while trying to force balls to triple covered receivers. And he is almost incapable of running. And he does anything (except move) to avoid taking a hit. Now, so far, Romo is ahead 1-0 on season-ending mistakes, but I wouldn't put it past Rex to make two bigger mistakes against Seattle. And then maybe the Bears' defense will give him a chance to make more mistakes in the finals.

Rex is horribly inconsistent, but he owns up to everything he does. He doesn't make excuses, blames no one but himself and does so candidly with the media. The latter, of course, isn't going to win any football games, but I give him credit for being a man about it.
Every Bears fan is scared to death of what he'll do on Sunday.
