Aikman can't help but sound good when paired with the abysmal Joe Buck.

I'm torn about the Giants. I wish the team had won, but I am glad that Coughlin lost. I missed most of the game yesterday, but according to a friend they showed clips of Tiki getting in Coughlin's face and Shockey lifting up Coughlin's headset to give him an earful. My brother has been boycotting the Giants all year because of Coughlin.
I missed Hockey Day in Canada on Saturday (but have discovered that Canadian conference rooms tend to have really heavy insulating curtains at the windows), but did get back to the hotel room in time to catch the ESPN Classic re-airing of the OU Boise State game. Wow.

you get ESPN in a Canadian hotel? I only get TSN.

Troy drives me nuts with his grammar (or lack thereof, to be more precise).
And yes. I am aware of the irony.

I'm very, very slowly learning to get over my dislike of him, and his being a reasonably competent commentator has helped his cause considerably. I don't actually notice anything that annoys me when he's calling a game, which I suppose is the mark of a fairly good color guy.

The sounds of his voice pisses me off ever since he had a hissy fit about Randy Moss fake-mooning the Green Bay stands ( and thus returning the traditional favor the good citizens of Green Bay give to departing opponents).

I went to college with Moose. He once carried me fireman-style over his shoulder from the bar that I worked at to another bar. I don't recall anyone calling him Moose in college.
(My friend PJ slept with him... but don't tell anyone.)

New York Smells?
It stunk all through my firm this morning. Gave me a headache. It's gone now. Ugh.

Having both the Jets and Giants lose on the same playoff weekend wreaks havoc with the gastrointestinal system, apparently.

Other teams may have retarded fans, but the Patriots have retahded fans. The majority of them know very little about the game of football, it's rules and strategies. It's their blind, drunken ignorance that I find so irritating.

FWIW, the Patriots fans seemed like decent folk when they were here in 2005 for the Superbowl.
