I am mildly disappointed to learn this. If for no other reason, John Cusack owes tremendous loyalty to Jeremy Piven for playing a supporting role in the vomitorious Serendipity.

Not only is this pointless gossip, but does CNN.com always have a bullet summary for such a short (9 paragraph) story? Are their readers incapable of gleaning these highlights on their own?

I think you are absolutely right. John Cusack just seems too down-to-earth and well adjusted to be jealous of Piven's success on a cable tv show. Why would he give a shit? The guy's a movie star. Piven has always been a complete wreck, practically screaming for attention. I remember reading one article (ironically, right after Serendipity came out) where he asked when the studios would see that he was capable of playing the lead in a movie.
But please stop sounding all and sane and reasonable and shit. I'm going cold turkey on reading ppnyc's crap and I need someone to play with already.

As it happens, I watched The Ice Harvest the other night. I liked it, but Jesus F. Christ it was dark. Hardly the Harold Ramis vehicle I would've expected.

Hmm. I have heard this from people, but I would still put it in the category of comedy. Like Pulp Fiction is a comedy (of course it is not nearly as good as Pulp Fiction, nor even the same style). |

okay. I went to imdb for this Ice Harvest and, as always when I haven't been there fora few months, I imdb'd my ex-aunt. she has a major role in American Pie 5 the Naked Mile. NWTF? I'm not sure I approve.
