I hitchhiked from Thunder Bay to Parry Sound in the Great Hitchhiking Adventure of 1992. I did not see big bugs -- or maybe I was just used to big bugs back then.

It's almost as if they bound her boobs.
But he looks like he's hitting on her.

I couldn't understand why people in the audience were laughing so hard during SBC's acceptance speech last night. I didn't think it was offensive, it just didn't make me laugh.
I don't know if my humor button was off last night, if you needed to have seen the movie to get his jokes, or if I don't appreciate his "humor."
What's the verdict here -- funny or not?

I always intersperse bites of pickle and bites of sandwich. I do the same with chips. I always try to finish everything at about the same time.
But then, when I was growing up, I read Bread and Jam for Frances an awful lot, and that Albert struck me as quite a sensible fellow.

Cool pool
This pool rocks.
Britney and seriously ugly boyfriend Isaac Cohen spend weekend in $40,000/night Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms.

I thought it was pretty funny, though crass. I did think he was kind of hot (please tell me I am not alone in this). He also reminded me some of a poster here we haven't seen in a while, but hairier and less earnest, and with an accent.

Oh snap! Between fringey vs. bnb, ncs vs. rp and now tm vs. fugee, my cup runneth over.

It is definitely funnier if you have seen the movie.

You are not alone. Mrs. Not Bob agrees with you -- her exact words were "that's the guy who does Borat? Wow, he's kind of hot." Followed by a pause, and "this is the guy you think is symbolic of the decline of civilization? You're an idiot."

Just because he is hot or because his golden globe speach proved that he clearly wishes to advance the cause of truth in art?

That was what my first wife said the first time I let her watch a speech by Clinton.

Another GG note
A lot of the makeup was so bleah. Way too many nude lips, and Sienna Miller just looked weathered and windblown.

The Best 80's Song NOT to be included on 80's Mixes

I can't figure out if that means you like or don't like that song. In any event, a staple of the covers portion of our set list.
Smithereens playing in LA in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, Pat DiNizio appears to have been hitting the White Castles pretty hard lately.
