I was up in northern NJ visiting some high school friends the weekend that it hit and I foolishly drove home during the blizzard because I didn't want to be stuck in NJ for a week (well, the not wanting to be stuck in NJ for a week wasn't foolish, but the driving in a blizzard was). That trip was quite an adventure. Not one of my brighter moves.

I remember this because (i) they said, "Blizzard of '96" about 10,000 times on the news and (ii) I flew out to Chicago the week before to cheat on my gf with this girl who paid for my flight (she was great and I was poor). If I had gone the following week, I would have been totally busted because I wouldn't have been able to get back in time because of the blizzard. Good times.

Four Brothers is actually a fairly large chain of several restaurants throughout upstate. I'm not a total fan.

I think Gigi Trattoria in Rhinebeck is better. Thin crust pizza.
