When I skimmed over the posts, I figured that was what penske was talking about and I thought, "Well, that's not exactly one of the social clubs, is it?" Though it is the most likely candidate for beer pong I suppose.

I have also found that their clothes run large, so sizing up as they suggest overcompensates. I wear a 6 or 8 in skirts and when I took my measurements (honestly! I literally took out a measuring tape) and ordered the size the table suggested, the thing literally fell off me. It felt like a 10 or 12.

None taken. I am just glad we were able to talk through our issues in a thoughtful manner and reach some measure of common ground without a lot of deragatory rhetoric. It's heartening for the future...especially with an election year coming up.

When the Wonk Princess was in first grade, we used to have a ritual we went through every day. When I got home, we would ask each other the same three questions:

What did you do in school/at work today?

What did you learn?

What did you have for lunch?

Sometimes, when she needs a little boost, she still asks me these questions.
