Of course, this assumes that the ex is not a complete dick -- I am pretty sure that bn'b has indicated that this is the case.

I was the bf in this situation once. It got very ugly -- threats from the ex not to return the kid when his weekend time was up, lots of nasty things said to and about me and/or her in front of the kid, etc.

I wish you luck, and hope it never goes that way.

Of course, I don't get the impression that you ex is a heroin addict, so that probably helps.

Isn't the "n" short for "and"? So wouldn't the short form be b'n'b? Not that I think you should allow such petty rules to dictate your preferred short form. I'm just wondering if I am missing something here.
