I've sat courtside bunches of times. Nosebleeds are better. If you've got bad eyes and few beers in you, you might swear you're seeing defense now and again.

Up close, Iverson looked like he was playing at 45 whilke everyone else was spinning at 33. People used to say "Look how fuckin' fast he is." Yeh, that and he's not a lazy motherfucker.

What is it with sequels carried well past the sell by date of the actors involved? First Stallone on this (well, not first, given Star Trek). And next it will be Harrison Ford doing another sequel to Indiana Jones. Basic Instinct II? I'm waiting with baited breath for Catherine Trammel to ice pick an entire nursing home in III.

Can Stallone still act? Perhaps, but could he try a new character?

What?

What the hell happened to Colin Farrell?

Quote:
Colin Farrell continues to let the good times roll in his native Dublin on Monday. The actor got in some family time by attending a holiday party with his sister.
He should stop hanging with his sister.

Road Trip?

Now here's something I'd pay to see.

The estranged husband of Britney Spears is scheduled to face World Wrestling Entertainment champion John Cena in the ring on New Year's Day in Miami – and is already talking like he's the winner.

The 28-year-old says he'll be the victor when he meets the 6,1", 240-lb. Cena in the ring.

I'd love to see him bodyslammed. Several times.

OK, last one

So Scarlett Johansson is back together with Josh Hartnett.

What does she see in that guy?

I had an erotic dream a few months ago featuring him. He seemed to know what he was doing.

I had an erotic dream a week or so ago featuring a monkey. He also seemed to know what he was doing.

For Christmas I would like a new brain.

Hawai'i

I don't recall specific hotels, but would highly recommend this guidebook to Kauai and this one to the Big Island. (The same people have guides to Maui and Oahu, but I haven't used them.) I seem to derive less utility from guidebooks than most people as a general rule, but these were terrific, and contained lots of good advice about (e.g.) cheap, local restaurants and so on.

For visiting Hawai'i (I love the pretension of that apostrophe), picking an island is a big choice, because they're very different. Kauai and the Big Island are less developed than most of the others.

My iStab project may be in research and development hell, but my iDream project sure seems to be finally working. Does anyone have Jessica Alba's address?

I was in Rocky II. The scene where all the little kids chase Rocky up the Art Museum steps? I was one of the kids.

I believe this was in 1975. It may have been 1976.

That's what I did too.

Caracas is a hell of a place for a long weekend.
