I stopped by yesterday before the games to pick up a few, and I was told that apparently there is some sort of shortage of a key ingredient and they haven't had any for awhile.
I'm sad that the marshmallow shortage hit before the avacado shortage.
I suppose I'm going to have to start keeping rice krispies, marshmallows and gobs of butter in the house now.

I do not generally eat rice krispie treats, but I like them better homemade because I like a higher proportion of marshmallow/butter to the cereal than that which exists in the commercially available versions.
I am not sure what is making me talk (write) like that.

have I mentioned that in the 70s I weighed 300 lbs and was an understudy for Divine on the Pink Flamingos set. For me, nostalgia is eating fresh dog turds. but they're not tasty so I don't.

You're playing a game called "hard to get" by its real name.

Wanda -- owner of "Help Me, Wanda," the local Beauty Shoppe (sometimes incorrectly called "Help Me, Wanda's" by the grammatically-challenged hoi polloi) -- received the DVD boxed set of Melrose Place season one for Christmas from her ex-husband. She's been playing it during the day, and I popped over after lunch to watch an episode or two.
Jane Mancini looked pretty good. Is she boring enough for you, Flower?

What about building one for yourself? Is that possible where you live?
I'm in love with the prefab movement, and one of my best friends just started a construction/development company using shipping containers.
The prefabs are all over the map in terms of pricing and fit and finish, but I think there are some pretty cool ones out there. They're generally more cost effective than building most of the house on site, and they tend to be eco friendly.
You should head over to the National Building Museum and check out the Glidehouse for an idea of what they can do with these prefab houses these days.

I read a story in a local magazine about that LivingHome that is in the prefab link you included. It seemed really cool to me at the time. I'd totally live in one of those. If I could, like, afford the land to put it on out here.

The president of my HOA just got a headache, and he has no idea why.
I actually love my house. I do. I love it. I love my leopard print rugs and my hot pink ottoman. I love my red bedroom walls. I love my glass block shower with no door. I love my bouganvillea.
What I really want is another person living in my house, and he comes with two more dogs in tow, and so a bigger house will be in order.
But I don't think I really want a new house, so much as I want a new joint tenant with rights of survivorship.

I was interested in these...we have some plots of land for sale near us and it seems to be a cost effective way to build...then my father in law was like "no there are all kinds of problems with them, one of which is that some of them are cement structures so that when there is a fire there are major problems" and there are other structural issues. Anything that seems to be too good to be true, usually IS.

It literally made my hands and feet swell (that must be from the salt). The chili cheese dip isn't even made with real cheese. It's Velveeta. It makes me cringe just thinking about it, which is why I need a football game to distract me.

Hmm, I do not know about avocados applied topically. I think they may be drying if you apply them directly to your skin. I am not sure why -- I just think I read that somewhere.
