I was hoping the answer was "I'm not that cruel".

I've been obsessing over The Dog Whisperer lately and they just showed an episode with a ridiculously cute dalmation puppy who lives at a firehouse about 2 miles from my apartment. Is it inappropriate for me to happen to stop by one day in hopes of meeting their puppy? I have to live vicariously through people who have dogs.

As one with obscenely adorable dogs, I'm used to dog-less people stopping by with the sole purpose to play with the pooches. I'm also used to random people stopping me on the street to admire them. I don't mind, though sometimes the dogs wonder why some stranger is looking for their eyes.

Go ahead. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised to see just how many obsessed people stalk animals they see on TV.

That the ref couldn't get it right even after watching the replay is astounding.

Of course, it was completely irrelevant in the end.
The Canadian softball players that I watched the game with and I agree with you 100%. I was surprised that Canadians knew so much about American football. These folks were more intelligent than the average American fan.

Any opinions on whether Tank Johnson will make the trip?

Yeah, that would be possible, but that level of damage to concrete would be expected to happen long after a wood or steel frame house would have completely collapsed.

Oh well.

I would like to say this is the last time I will try to make something ppnyc says make sense, but that's unlikely.

I was thinking of bn'b wearing a puppy coat, while pretending to laugh at the random musings of her jazz man boyfriend, as they stood on her leopard rugs, but I've snapped out of it now.

Canadian football is not all that different from American football. Plus, most Canadians that like football follow the NFL primarily, and to a lesser extent, the CFL. The NFL is widely covered in Canada, just like baseball and basketball, although hockey news typically comes first in the Sports Center(re)-type shows.

And wasn't there some American league a while back that had teams in Canada? The USFL or something?

It has the important difference that you can smoke weed, and still play.

Indeed.

And I was wrong about the USFL having Canadian teams. What I am remembering is when the CFL expanded into the US sometime in the late 80s, I think.

He's a jazz man?

I knew they were hot and heavy, but I didn't know he was also a jazz man.
