If my father were still alive he would appreciate your story. Working as some sort of office clerk as a teenager, his boss asked him to put some papers (invoices?) "in numerical order". So he sets to work. About ten minutes later, the boss comes in and says "Numerical order, you know, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 . . ."
I don't get it.

Remember carbon paper? That stuff was awesome. Also: mimeographs. The aroma!!!! The warmth!!!!! The amazing spinning machine!!!!
I used to love mimeograph machines. The smell was distinctive.

I am not the trapper-keeper timmy, but you are correct.

Someone else here pointed out the difference between the trapper keeper (the binder part) and the trappers (folders that fit in the binder) recently.

Carry on.

ETA: I just (re)learned that ABBA didn't watch tv or listen to music as a kid because her parents were a bit heavy-handed in the rule enforcement. (April 3, 2003)*

*At this rate, I'll hit May 2003 sometime in February 2007.

Right. The first years at whatever law firm is hired to sue your out-of-the-law company.

I just like saying "I'm out of the law gig." It's sort of a love-letter to Sebby.

I think I was the one who brought up trapper keepers in the first place during that thread though, so there you are.

I like it. Maybe I'll join you in applying it heavily in a bit.

I have other friends who are couples. That story was not about ncs/Mr. Man. I'm sorry if this is a disappointment to you.
