I realized that this morning after re-reading it. At first glance, I mistook it for The Wind in the Willows. My bad.

This reminds me, anyone else watching Extras this season? It's just getting better and better. And I am very glad that Rome is back, though the storylines are sort of all over the place right now.
And, God help me, Battlestar Galactica is available on the "In Demand" channel, so I think I am all caught up with that as well (Hi RT!).

I finished my half marathon about 8 minutes faster than I thought I would, and the first leg is the fastest I've ever run.
I'm still slow, but I'm overjoyed that I did it. Yay me!!!

I haven't seen you run in person, and I certainly haven't put a stop watch on you, but I can totally tell from the interwebs that you have no business calling yourself fast even though I never said I was fast myself and someone attacked me for not being fast even though I didn't say I was.
Kidding, of course. Congrats!

I watched my first episode of Extras this weekend. It was the one with Samuel L Jackson ("I loved you in the Matrix"). Very funny.

The most recent episodes of BSG and Rome are on my Tivo waiting for me to watch. I look forward to both.
My brother is on a mission to convert people into BSG fans by showing them the miniseries and tempting them with the DVDs of seasons one and two. So far he's generated two fanatics.

I couldn't for the life of me put the right guy in that role once I read this. I know the The Matrix guy wore a long coat, but the person's face I was seeing (in my mind's eye) was Samuel L Jackson (of Pulp Fiction vintage).
After a while, the other guy's face morphed over SLJ's. What's his name again?

Laurence Fishburne.
You should see the Extras episode. It will make you laugh at what you just posted.

I am so uncool.
But I did learn today that Combos are a "hunger management" snack. The package tells me so.

No. maybe it's just that the really really attractive have this problem- we are used to seeing our own faces in the mirror dozens of times each day, and our own faces are so fucking attractive that it is hard for the more normal looking faces to even register with us.

I am not anti-gay, just pre-disposed to my partners waxxxing.
