I love that song. Or, I'd better, because it's stuck in my head now. Much catchier than How Soon Is Now or whatever that Smiths song we are discussing is.

I look at some of the photos you post, and I am convinced there is a deeply scarred, frightened little boy hiding deep inside of you. Some day, that little boy will get angry and start talking to you. Please promise me you won't listen.

(In my defense, I got less than half of those words right in my rendition, and I knew what none of the big words meant.)

And yet I didn't grow up to be a stripper.

Is that all that is wrong with me? I am far better adjusted than I had even hoped! This is among the best days of my life EVER. I learn that I am the Sun AND that the only thing wrong with me is a failure to sing loudly and offkey decades ago!!!

This is my favorite line on the website:

"Hypotrichosis of the pubis, loss of pubic hair, or failure to grow pubic hair, is more common especially in oriental women."

I fully realize the unfortunate thread this could start.

RT was here too

2. That and Coloured Spade. Scary what cute little girls in pigtails can get away with.

My sister and I loved (LOVED!) My Conviction. We would do our best to belt out the Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaacc-tualy at least as long as the guy on the album and hold the note until our faces turned purple. Good times.

ETA: So it is a surprise that some of my best friends in life today are gay?

I would just like to say
That it is my conviction
That longer hair and other flamboyant
Affectations of appearance are nothing more
Than the male's emergence
From his draft camoflage
Into the gaudy plumage
Which is the birthright of his sex

There is a peculiar notion
That elegant grooming and fine feathers
Are not proper for a male
When aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaac-tually
That is the way things are
In most
Species.

(all from memory. my coworkers are just lucky I didn't belt it out while typing.)

We used to sing some of the Hair songs and strum along with our ukeleles. This was with the same teacher that taught us about Bill's still on the hill. We also listened to White Rabbit with him.

I guess I make him sound like a grungy hippie, but he was actually very Not Bob-like, both in appearance and personality.

2! Are you my sister? We liked Abie Baby too. Nothing like singing a swear word to entertain kids. The CD has been in the car since Thanksgiving, belting out the songs helps keep me awake on the long drive home.

eta: Was the Pippin soundtrack popular at your house too?
