I'm not sure that situation requires hard core vandalism, but I'll bring my dog to shit in his yard.

First, he would have to carry his stuff to his bin anyway, as I do for mine, so he is not engaging in extra labor putting his stuff in mine; and my house is really close to his so he's not walking out of his way (if he were, that would be even weirder). Second, my driveway is much longer than his, so I have to carry my bin much further than he would have to carry his. Third, it's much more awkward and dirty to carry the bin than to carry the items to recycle.
Admittedly, I'm grasping at a way to rationalize my annoyance as having much more than a territorial element to it. But I really dislike carrying that bin, it's the worst part of the job.
So, has anybody had any really hot sex with someone new lately?

You should start putting your garbage and recycling in his bins. Seriously. Do this. And find some dirty diapers also. And pumpkin innards. Let us know how this works out.
I have had really hot sex but it is not with anyone new so I cannot respond to your question.

It was a shock one night to go out and put garbage in the can only to see the diapers. Smelly smelly diapers. I don't know how long it had been going on but I decided that if he did it again, I'd leave them on his doorstep - just as a sort of "hey - these are yours, not mine" type of gesture.

Not a good idea. If you're going to go to the trouble of actually handling them, you set fire to them and launch them at his front porch.
Jesus, what an amateur.

I'm pretty sure he also puts his trash in my cart (that sounds dirty). I rarely see his trash bin out in front of his house.
He's never said anything to me about it, and it took me a while to figure out it was him.
We don't get charged for collection based on volume, so this has no real effect on me, but it bugs me nonetheless. I realize that it's just a territorial instinct (every Friday I think of that Curb episode where a neighbor of Larry's became irate that Larry put an apple core in the neighbor's trash bin), but it also irritates me that he freeloads off my labor of dragging the bins back and forth down my driveway. I have to get my hands dirty and make four trips every collection day, and he never does. In his favor, he doesn't have any fucking windchimes, so I can let this go as just something weird that he does.
So my question is this -- how many of you would find this slightly annoying, and why?

NFH is appalled that you live next to someone who drinks Bud from the can.

So, you drag your bins to the curb, he transports his recyclables to your bins. You never actually move any of his stuff, right?
So the only benefit he gets is one less trip to and from the curb (he has no bins to retrieve after getting home from work, while RP must drag hers back)?
I'd have to say that, no, I couldn' care less that someone piggybacks off of my recycling bin.

I'm with you on the wind chimes. They should be banned from multi-family dwellings. At the very least. Nothing worse than wind chimes on the next balcony over. Ok. There are things worse, but still that's annoying.
Here's the thing I do to annoy my neighbors. There's a family with at least 2 yippy dogs that lives down the hall from me. The like to bark (yip). So lately I've been walking louder down the hall when I pass their apartment so that they have those stupid dogs barking as much as possible while they are in their apartment trying to relax. Is this wrong to do? There's about a 50-75% chance they would bark even if I weren't (?) making the extra noise.
[is it wasn't or weren't? I'm not sure I've ever used weren't before.]
