ETA though, that curve of the hip there? Jesus. I want to fuck her.

I don't think her body looks hot in this photo. Looks like bad posture and I want to say "suck in your stomach" even though she certainly does not have a gut.

Just this once I'm going to have to agree with ABBA. I thought it also made her hips look very broad from the frontal view. She's done much better than this. I think why so many people love this dress is because it's hard to make her look bad, but honestly, she'd done much better

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

The lack of good posture and non-gut-sucking-in-ness may be just the things about this picture that make me see her naked, fucking some guy into oblivion.
Yummy!

Randolph Duke was going on about how much he loved this dress. I thought it was just okay, though a huge improvement from her GGs outfit. It looked scratchy and uncomfortable to me.
I'm going back and forth on Hilary Swank's dress, but ultimately I think I just don't like it. As for the breasts, one of those sites linked to from here (maybe goodplasticsurgery.com?) said she's one of the ones with a good boob job (along with Gisele Bundchen, Tyra Banks, Jen Schefft and a host of others; the photos for Jen Schefft are particularly damning).
I don't like the non-color dresses, which includes Halle (again, a huge improvement over her bizarrely lopsided GGs dress), Gwyneth (whose dress fit her very poorly in the boob area, and looked pink in photos but beige on TV), Laura Linney (hated her hair and makeup--and apparently the same makeup person did Drew Barrymore. They both looked like raccoons with ill-defined eyebrows). Give me COLOR! I loved Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet. I thought the best black dresses were Beyonce's red carpet number (very Madame X, as Randolph Duke pointed out) and Scarlett Johannson's (did anyone else notice how horrific her hair looked in the clips from the technical awards?).
Renee Zellweger is back to skeletal and looks AWFUL. Think back to how great and curvy she looked last year in that white Carolina Herrera number.
I think the Sidney Lumet boob gal was his daughter.

I agree. Bad angle.
That said, she looked better than everyone last night. She always looks better than everyone.
And Flinty, I don't give a shit about your list. It is clearly inferior.

I almost edited my "fucking some guy into oblivion" thing to pander shamelessly and say "fucking TM into oblivion" but I guess I'm glad I didn't.

That's only because I've already made my way through your top fifteen. Hate the game, not the playa.

Oscar Roundup
What the fuck was with all the dresses with trains? Talk about a really stupid fashion trend. I wonder how many dresses got ruined at the afterparties from drunk folk stepping on them

I wonder when she got it then, because they looked very nice in The Next Karate Kid in the dress Mr. Miyagi bought her.

From different angles it looks strange, you're right. And although I don't really like the style, she looked great.

1 photo each, or do you soil a whole spread before you consider yourself done with them?

Ok, but only one tidbit for public consumption: Phyllis Diller was surprisingly tender and loving.
PM for details.
