This is just some contingency fee bottom dwellers attempt to extort money from Disney. They think that Disney will pay to avoid bad press.

A word of warning: do not tie the "leash" to the booze cooler tube to your ankle.

Rope around deputy's ankle led to drowning while tubing
Jill Burcum, Star Tribune
July 23, 2004 DROWN0723
A Chisago County deputy tubing down the St. Croix River drowned Wednesday after a rope lashed to his ankle and another inner tube became entangled in river debris and pulled him under in the heavy current.
Authorities in Polk County, Wis., said that Ronald Butcher, 39, of rural Shafer, Minn., was on an air mattress and used a 15- to 20-foot-long rope to tow an inner tube holding a cooler. He was spending the day on the river with his wife and 13-year-old son.
Two adults floating nearby were not able to rescue Butcher because of the heavy current, authorities said. Nearby boaters called 911. Osceola emergency workers arrived in about five minutes and pulled Butcher from the water.

Moreover, the defendant's lawyer has also played Tigger at Disney, and works part-time as a costumed character at the theme park. He said he reached out to Chartrand because he thought he was uniquely qualified to defend him. (By playing Tigger I assume, not for being a part-time puppet/part-time attorney)
Prosecutors hope to use as evidence about 200 photographs of tourists posing with Tigger and other characters. But the defense claims there's no way to prove Chartrand was in all the photos.
The defense also expects jurors to take the costume with them during deliberations where they can handle it and put on the mask and gloves, by which they might realize how difficult it would be to grope a young girl.

A friend of mine was groped by Frontier Goofy at Disney Land a few years back. The picture was hysterical. She was more amused than upset by it.

Book rec
You don't have to be a parent to appreciate this one:
Came across it at the library with Magnus today, and it made me laugh out loud several times.

BB5: I can't believe how poorly Diane played the veto competition. Even the little kids in the Fugee Family know that if you can't make sure you win, then make sure who loses. Maybe you have to grow up playing croquet as a blood sport to learn that rule.
Outback Jack: Natalie is my favorite "bachlorette" ever. I watch just to see what she's going to say next.
Amazing Race: They have auditions here next week for AR7. Any of the Minnesota Mafia want to go with me? Lester -- I could tell them I'd be partners with my imaginary internet playmate who despises everything I believe.

Not only that, but then when the 4 horsemen tried to make a deal with her to not vote her out next week, she not only walked away from it, but threw it back in their faces. How DID she get through college?

In the end, she put up Marvin which I guess she could say she was making the deal behind everyone's back, or that she really didn't want Scott to go. Either way, if she really wanted Scott to go, she would have put up Drew, knowing that no one in that house would EVER vote him out. Even though he spent way too much time with the old Republican in the house.

When your posts are proof-read by CNN editors they're more coherent.
Re. reality shows- I caught this "you want to marry my dad." I haven't watched many of the other reality shows, but this is near bottom as to sleaze, right? I mean in a good way.
The camera pans are perfect. The guy has 3 big-boobed daughters. They're are constantly sitting in a group being interviewed about the contestants and who is best for good old dad. But every interview, the 3 are positioned at different vertical positions. The lowest one's head aligned with the next's tits, and the next the same. So the camera pans from head, slow to boobies, holds, then moves to the next head, then acroos boobs to 3rd head. Meanwhile the subject is the sweet romantic dreams of daddy. The overall absurdity of a rich good-looking guy letting his daughters pick his wife only adds to the real T&A story.

Maybe he thought your friend suffered from acute toonophilia or was a confused plushie. If she didn't object, I'm sure she has some latent furry feelings she hasn't come to terms with. She should look into attending a Furry Con.

(Anyone see that MTV documentary on the furries? That was some weird shit, man.)

Take heart, Hank. There's someone for everyone.
Spree: I guess it depends on your definition of 'inappropriate,' but there are clearly no skin pics on any of those links.

I wish. You pointed out I lack the discipline to stay in character, so I don't think this is the answer.
In fact the only thing I have in common with these people is this confession, which I could also make:
'I experimented with licking myself with my tongue until I found that my hair got stuck in my teeth'

I would think that hairballs would just increase their feelings of oneness with the animal world.

If the Spinster's Home isn't taking donations...
The Chicago Tribune print edition today had a profile of a charter school here that would be the perfect charitable cause for the board -- should we decide to donate to something other than ourselves...
The Namaste School.
