Whoa. A get off the board ultimatum. I can't wait to witness this eventual trainwreck. str8's put his Jeep on the tracks.
Where did you see an ultimatum? I see a desire expressed for somebody to please leave. And you attack my reading comprehension?

I vote to evict Str8. Now, if I can just get Penske and his socks on board, we should have a majority and nobody else will even need to vote.
You missed it. We voted PLF off yesterday for being a malicious dickwad. The next removal isn't scheduled for another two weeks.

People fear and loathe dentists. Thus the high suicide/alcoholism/drug abuse numbers.

I cry when I go to the dentist. And when I get his bill.
I couldn't work around crying people all day.
Plus, my dentist buddies tell me that a large portion of the population is not as hygenic with their mouths as you would like them to be. Think puss.

It was ... [wait for it] ... implied. See when someone says stuff along the lines of "maybe you should find new people to annoy..." and "I'd want to hang around here much more often if you weren't here" the logical step next is something along the lines of "fringey's forcing me off the boards with her horribleness! her or me!"

and you don't want that answer.

I'm not going to scroll back but wasn't there something about "ad hominem attacks at my expense"?

LFM"disputed your assertion" so that he could mock you about the Yale thing, for which you have already received so much mockery. Therefore it seems only natural that a sincere (and unconvincing to this English major who went to a law school that purported to teach L&E, so what do I know; but I don't care anyway because I make more than my market value) analysis in response would only invite more mockery. You shouldn't be surprised or annoyed.

I honestly thought you were playing along.

It's been covered. I think it has something to do with being dominant -- as you may recall, I said you were subbing.

Quite a dilemma. Should I vote to evict fringey, a friend whose posts are incredibly entertaining, but who keeps eying my dessert with eager "Are you done yet?" eyes? Or should I vote to evict str8, who screwed me on the concert tickets, but who may soon post about how he sat next to me at lunch? What to do . . .

I think there should be a campaign.

So wanker, is my leaving the board sufficient, or do I actually need to off myself? Just curious.

I do, however, enjoy a nice buffet after skiing, which is why Deer Valley is my favorite ski resort in the Park City area.
I was going Dartmouth bc it was small and not as flamboyant as say a Harvard or Yale. Bu I see the drunk/laid thing.

I say Deer Valley is the Penn of ski resorts bc it gets all the LA Industry Jews. Right str8?

Congratulations, Str8, my boy. You have somehow managed to become today's target of choice.

Who knows why or how these things happen? Anyway, my advice to you is to try not to let it bother you.

How can I leave before I find out what's in everybody's breakroom? Or whether Str8outtahisass and whingey kiss and make up, or take it to a cage match? Or whether you'll ever post anything funny? It's the suspense that keeps me locked in, year after year.

Yeah, but it's crowded, so I might not be able to get convenient parking -- and I'd have to walk.
