That's all I could come up with. Please add to the list as appropriate.
I can't believe you fell for NotBob's down-home bunkum. He's by far the most self-obsessed basket case on the boards. He's even created a fictional little world for himself, with characters that he can interact with - all in his head! It seems cute at first, but . . .

You are welcome. Dating weekend was FANTASTIC. As evidenced by my general attitude today - see, e.g. generosity with respect to cake.

I'd say paigow would lose that wager, and that it's a jennifer aniston issue. sorry.

zoolander at least had something vaguely innovative about it. along came polly just had endless scatological jokes. like austin powers 3.

eta: then again, having sat through lost in translation this weekend, waiting for the pain to end, my movie-assessment skillz aren't razor sharp
I liked the way LIT looked, and i got the message, but I wasn't nuts about it. Polly was atrocious. Zoolander was OK, but Stiller's really a bit overexposed. He needs to hone down his roles a bit better. He does the fumbling foil (Fockers, Mary) really well, and he can play the buffoonish villian (Dodgeball) well also, but he doesn't do the romantic comedy too well.

No he doesn't.

I've cut him slack on the Podunkville stuff because I understand the he needs that imaginary world where he isn't a pussy-whipped freak who isn't even allowed to speak to his local barrista to order his triple foam non-fat latte. See, NB, I've got your back.

Damn, girl, you are cooooooold. And you've got that passive-aggressive thing honed to perfection.

I am impressed!

By the way -- I heard (but cannot confirm or gainsay) that the movie Ben Stiller did with Drew Barrymore (Brownstone?) was pretty good. Anyone have first-eye experience?

etf all kinds of fuckups
I love getting buzzed on planes. I got cut off by some teetotaller a few years back on my way home from Europe. We were like two hours out of the states and she stopped serving me and this chick I was sitting next to. We asked why and she said "You've had enough." I didn't know what to do. We should've raised a stink, but neither of us had any experience with how to handle the sitchy.

ETA: Jesus, my wife has me using sitchy. I meant situation. Wait... ok, nice. My dick is still there.

No More Ben Stiller - it's time for boob talk

Tawny Peaks sells her implants on EBay.

Internet casino company GoldenPalace.com won the bid for the infamous implant at $16,766 Saturday, according to the eBay Web site and the seller, known professionally as Tawny Peaks. She advertised a 69-HH bra size before her implants were removed in 1999.

“It’s over and I’m happy,” said Peaks, now a homemaker living in the DETROIT AREA.

She won fame in 1998 when a patron at the Diamond Dolls nightclub in Clearwater, Fla., sued her, claiming he suffered a whiplash injury when she swung her breasts into his face. He said they were “like two cement blocks.”

The case went to arbitration on “The People’s Court” television show and the judge, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, ordered a female bailiff to examine Peaks in private.

The bailiff found the breasts to be “soft” and to weigh about 2 pounds each. Koch ruled they were not dangerous and refused to award damages.

2 pound implants? That must have been 1 industrial strength bra!

Re your title, can one ever use the term gavotte (sp?) in casual conversation without looking like a complete horse's ass?
