Something to talk about
As the board is dead:
I was at my wife's house (the former family home) this weekend to see my kids and pick up some mail.
In the middle of the pile of my mail was a (open, not in the envelope) birthday card from Bill to my wife, complete with double-entendre.
I'm not really hurt by it, just amazed at what seems to me to be complete crassness.
Is my soon-to-be-ex-wife a giant bitch, or am I over-analyzing?

Your soon-to-be-ex-wife is a giant bitch or Bill has been in your soon-to-be-ex-house recently causing trouble.

Refresh my recollection--why is she getting the house?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

Sadly, Coltrane, neither you nor I am God. We may or may not be the king, depending on whether we're hosting. I have no idea whether SB would be an unbelieving jew, but clearly coming to the party isn't, in itself, enough. You need to bring an occasional good story about fashion, entertainment, philosophy, alien invader escape plans, double anal -- hell, something -- or, you get bound and cast into the outer darkness and shit.
Whoa. I've wandered into Watchtower territory. Give me a minute and I'll come up with some Caligula-style dream sequence to try and atone for this.

Nevermind. I misread your post. We are in agreement. Your ex is a huge bitch.

Complete bitch. And do not make the mistake of believing for a minute that the card was placed there accidentally.

The only way you can get back at her is to fuck her sister...or her mom.

At PinnacleSports.com, they’re saying that the odds are in favor of Cruise and Holmes getting married before the child is born — with 4/9 odds in favor of, versus 2/1 odds that the couple will have their baby out of wedlock.
They’re also betting that Cruise’s first biological child (ha, as if) will be a boy, with 10/13 odds, while the betting on the couple having a baby girl stands at 11/10.
They are even betting on the baby’s name, with standards such as Michael, Matthew and Ethan being the favorites for boys (30/1); girls’ favored names are Emily, Emma and Madison (35/1). The chances of a baby girl getting named Nicole or Penelope are long shots at 150/1, the same odds given the possibility that she’ll be named Brooke.

The people who bet on things like "what will Tom name the kid," -are they stone cold addicts? There are so many other things that are more fun to bet. Is it just these guys covered all the bases on sports or reality tv and just need to put one more bet down?

Interesting thought. Very interesting thought.
ewww. My wife's a fully grown adult woman who is a MILF in her own right (well, not so much M ILF anymore, but anyway, objectively). Her mom is like 60.
Well, I guess I've got to do what I've got to do.

Revenge involves sacrifice. Your disgust would be outweighed by your ex-wife's pain.

I really think we need to start a "revenge consulting" side business.
