I am unclear as to how either Reggie Bush or Vince Young could have helped that effort.

Easy. Reggie Bush is a blast to watch. It would have given you hope.

Actually, until the unfortunate tripping incident in the fourth quarter, the stadium was full of hope. We're not exactly a fan base that learns from past experience.

God bless Texas
Yesterday, after the football game, I drove 170 miles to Austin to meet a friend who came to the great state for the big Flash conference.
I met her at the airport, helped her check in to the hotel and the conference, we had dinner and a movie, and I drove home.
Anyhow, I noticed two things, pretty much side by side on the road back from the airport.
1.) A titty bar called "The Landing Strip" about half a mile from the airport.
2.) A tent revival, complete with tent, that was about half full of people praising the lord. I couldn't tell if any snake handling or speaking in tongues was going on.
I love this state.

Two snake handling spots side by side on the road? It's just like putting two gas stations on opposite corners - once the competition is established, you soon find everyone heads to the corner for gas and both stations flourish.

Best show ever. Are there any girls in the top 6 (is that where we are now?) that you find attractive? And, more to the point, is it remotely possible that any of the remaining women are actually attracted to Flav?

There has never been better trashy, crap tv. For those who don't know, you better axe somebody (or click here and watch season 1's "Spit Hits the Fan": http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/flavor_...e/series.jhtml).
As for your questions, Krazy, when her hair is down is pretty. Bootz (I think that's her name) has an exaggerated ratio. It's a bit too much, but I don't dislike it. Or maybe it was Buckey. I dunno. Bootz, Buckey and Beautiful are all not great, but not bad. That's about it. Check out their myspace pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flavor_of_Love
And what do you mean by attracted? Star-struck and therefore attracted? Yes. Knowing that being with him extends their 15 minutes and gets them into some parties with some famous people here and there and therefore attracted? Yes. Physically attracted? Maybe a couple. The fat one who's gone? Definitely.
And I am devastated that Buckwild left. And although New York is certifiably insane, I didn't really want her to come back. I need some fresh insanity. Maybe ppnyc can go on next season?

lunch suggestion post for Fringey
so I went to lunch at the Japanese place and got the boat lunch- normally that would come with a California roll, but I didn't want the california roll for at least two reasons, so I substituted extra sashimi.
Anyways, the boat comes out and in the center is an area with several sahsimi pieces. to the side was an area with wasabi and ginger, and next to that were several pieces of what looked like tuna sashimi. this "second" tuna seemed a bit different shade of red compared to the tuna in the main area, but I thought maybe it was a slightly fattier cut.
I grabbed a glop of wasabi, and took the first pieces from the second tuna- it crunched from the chopsticks, and I thought it was frozen at first. still I took a bit bite of tuna/washabi and......it was watermelon!
The waitress and I laughed over my mistake. The itamae didn't see me, thank goodness.
Fringey- get a bacon cheeseburger with spicy fries.
