Seriously, though, what the fuck were ABC and ESPN doing? Changing the format - fine. Having some in depth and personals about the kids - fine.

But, having Stuart Scott interviewing them after they lost, and having Mike and Mike In The Morning there doing commentary, was beyond absurd to downright insulting to these kids whose IQs are triple Mike Golic's. It made me long for the farcical coverage of Little League World Series.

I can only hope the value of the scholarships went waaaay up.

I didn't watch the bee coverage, but I actually like Golic. He's not brilliant, but he's definitely not stupid. Relatively intelligent for a football player. Greenberg went to Medill at Northwestern and sounds educated on the radio. Regardless, it still makes no sense to have them doing commentary - on their morning talk show, they discussed their confusion as to why they were asked to do it.

Hitler's Xbox Ban

SFW. Lots of yelling in German and dirty words in the subtitles.

What's the story with that kool-dude smiley for the new thread title on The Fashionable thread page? Is that to keep board navigation super newber-friendly?

I know the perfect place for us to dry hump

Have we seen these e-cards?

http://www.someecards.com/upload/fli...dex.html?ep=20

The sketches are outstanding. The "Thinking of You" section is great.

We have seen them, thanks to RT. In fact, thanks to RT, I wasted the better part of a morning exchanging these cars with coworkers and friends. I think my favorite is "You've been distant since the sexual harassment."

Ah, sorry. I was in Cozumel for a while back in May, so I may have missed the link the first time, but I wanted to make sure the FB was aware of them.

I liked Cozumel.

No worries. I missed them the first time around as well, and then when I got around to checking them out, I was a little surprised nobody had remaked about them. Or maybe, like me, they had and had simply not shared their appreciation of the cards with RT and the board. RT, I am sorry I did not remark upon the link to the amusing web site you provided us. Also:

Oh, and Ironweed, I owe you an apology as well:

How you gonna let a sub-.500 team beat up on you like that? Last series, you took it to us. This series you got a spankin' and we played our last game split squad.

Easy. Horrible bullpen. .230 team batting average. We are sub-.500 as well.

Plus, Pods*, Erstad*, Crede* and Dye were out of the line-up last night. Luckily, Dye was only out for last night's game.

Crede may never play another game for the Sox.

*injured.

Your apology to Ironweed is directly contradicted by your signature line. I am concerned that you may not have noticed this.

Never fear, PLF is as incapable of experiencing real regret as he is of feeling any other genuine human emotion.
