2. So much for Paris's stint in jail being a wake-up call for her friends and fellow partiers. If I had that kind of money and had just turned myself in on a prior DUI, I'd use a driver if there was even a possibility I'd be having a drink. For that matter, if I had her money I'd use a driver all the time. I'd much rather ride than drive.

Though, apparently LL was trying to sell pictures of herself to tabloids, so maybe she can't afford a driver right now.

I hired a car* to take me to the airport on Thursday morning (non-work trip). Surely she has more money than me.

*With two people, it's really not that much more expensive than a cab.

I think it's more expensive if they are following you around all night and at your beck and call, rather than doing a booked ahead, straight trip that they can probably also do a return on.

I'm just saying.

Prole.

I have a buddy who lost his license due to two DUIs. He essentially has a full-time driver. Not cheap.

The trucking industry is the lifeblood of the American economy, ensuring the prompt and orderly supply of goods and services to cities and towns all over the nation.

BTW, how is this calculated? If your wife took a separate cab to the airport, the cost would be about the same as if you rode together in a car?*

* I think your research needs to be more rigorous. Next time you're going out of town together, suggest you take separate cabs to the airport to see whether it's cheaper than hiring a car together.

which is hurt worse, the NBA or betting? I knew the NBA refs were playing favorites, but I would have thought I could predict that bias- e.g. they want LeBron to win, so might still have been willing to bet on games. Now it turns out there is this totally unpredictable factor of what team the ref bet on to factor in. I'm thinking sports betting takes a hit, but I suppose that would require the betters to be rational.
