Which is better? The Joan Baez original or the Judas Priest cover?

I love Baez's voice, but that fruity Halford bastard has pipes as well.

At an elementary school? That's really where he prefers that sort of thing.

Still, I'm sure you can get them back- BUT- we're doing it in stages. Heres what, starting tomorrow I'm giving you back the "NFH is a man" franchise. work that and we'll see what else should be returned.

I said it before, but truth bears repetition:

Judas Priest - best cover band ever.

but ...

truth sucks when picking up the chicks. Airy fairy mystic SF chicks don't like it whn I ask them for evidentiary support for their beliefs.

If he scores there, I would be willing to grant a license in the "Shifty is dumbest" property.......

Can I at least keep the Encyclopedia Brown parody genre? Low miles, used once, rode hard, put away wet.

I have never, ever read anything about that kind of phenomenon before. What is this 401(k) thing of which you people speak? It sounds very interesting. Should I know something about it?

Can I get a ruling -- are pipes a kind of horn?

Dude? Are you fucking kidding?

This is akin to asking if the Dylan original of "Watchtower" is better than the Hendrix (or Jerry, or Dead, or Neil, or DJ Spooky) just because its the orginal.

not(Not12ys)Less,

PS - You, me, Less, Flower, Bnb, NcS, Man, and the other "musically inclined" should do a few updated polls, as the last few are a few years old.

It will not make you into an athelete by any means, but it doesn't seem like that's what you want. It really is 30 min, in and out -- basically the machines are all in a circle, and you switch machines at timed intervals (so it's like 30 sec or 60 sec or whatever of doing a given exercise, not X number of reps) -- there are 2 CDs playing, one of which beeps or something at each interval, and the other of which has music. There are also rest areas -- so like every 4 machines, you sit out one. You can start anywhere in the circuit and people are coming in and dropping out all the time. Unless all of the spots are full, there's no waiting, and even if there were waiting, you'd only have to wait until someone finished their 30 min.
My wife tried to join one near her job but the fact that it was closed for lunch from 12 to 2 was a downer.

That would def defeat the purpose of a lunchtime workout...mine is near my train station and open 3 days a week at 6, so I could work out shower and hop on the train. I don't like the 1 year contract thing. I guess every year firms renew their discounts since this year some of the places they offered are no longer on the list....[curves is not one of them] so I may have to find my own deal from some of the places. I called Gold's they have some bs like if you sign up one near your house you only have 14 reciprocal visits in the city. Again, re lunch time what is the freaking point? you should have access to all gold's--I'd be better off in the city and using the 14 on the weekends but they know that and charge more in the city

The demon cactus

Dear God,

I feel like I've adequately learned my lesson about tequila and empty stomachs. I promise never to do it again, if you'll just take this stupid headache away.

Oh, and do something about the cotton mouth.

Ever so grateful in advance,

RT

I'm not saying Curves is bad (I know virtually nothing about it aside from that it is circuit weights and not really cardio) but it is not a huge calorie burner, and my understanding is that you want to lose weight which means you need to burn calories.

My other plan was to buy an elliptical from like Nordic Trak or something. I guess I'm getting all el cheapo and not wanting to pony up the 700+ or whatnot it would entail, I think Nordic has payment plans though.

To be honest, I dropped the most weight when I run. The treadmill works for me and I have not yet blown out my knees yet.
