I make loads of gay jokes, many to gay friends. Are you suggesting that one who engages in such humor is anti-gay in the sense a politician who votes against gay rights is?

Both in a sense. Did I get glee from finding out Rush Limbaugh was an addict? Absolutely. Am I glad he was addicted? No, but I admit to getting more enjoyment from that level of hypocrisy than learning he was secretly listening to Al Franken.

okay, I take your word, and I apologize to all the libs here. Atticus wasn't using the man's sexual orientation as the basis of his humor. He was finding the humor in the fact that yet another Republican who has made political hay out of being anti-gay has been exposed as being full of shit.
